We created a Haiti-specific regenerative cotton program in collaboration with Terra Genesis, Smallholder Farmers Alliance (SFA), Timberland, and VF Corp. As a result, SFA farmers harvested one of the world's first verified regenerative cotton crops in January of 2023.
This Ethos Regenerative Outcome Verification™ project reintroduced the cotton crop to the island to create growth opportunities for Haiti and its communities while planting millions of trees within a regenerative agroforestry model.
Our farmer partners are cultivating dozens of secondary crops. The crops in these complex agroforestry systems include:
Moringa, Peanut, Cacao, coffee, plantain, banana, okra, maize, peas, and beans.
